Stock Up on Fresh Produce From Ward’s Berry Farm

Buying local groceries was easy during the warmer months when you could stroll around farmers’ markets every weekend, but the winter poses something of a challenge. Ward’s Berry Farm has responded by finding a safe and efficient way to deliver local fruits and veggies to its patrons, via online ordering and curbside pickup.

To place an order, peruse the ever-changing grocery list. It’s packed with a huge variety of produce, from local apples and berries to oranges, pineapple, and pomegranates. Asparagus and avocados are available alongside fresh thyme and tarragon. There’s even a small selection of specialty shelf-stable foods, including popcorn and freeze-dried fruit. Want some fresh flowers or a new houseplant? Ward’s Berry Farm stocks those, as well. After you fill out the order form, expect a call to confirm your order and collect your payment information. Then come to the market for contactless curbside pickup between 8:30 and 11 a.m. or 4 and 6 p.m. You’re also welcome to come inside and browse, as long as you’re comfortable wearing a mask and social-distancing.
